Antiga was born as an artistic fashion boutique in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Now, from Barcelona, we begin a new chapter so you can discover and enjoy locally handcrafted design.
The clothing you find here is made by us, either from scratch or by transforming garments we come across along the way. We use techniques such as embroidery, knitting, and printing, always by hand and at a calm pace. Each piece is unique, made with care and designed to stay with you for years, not just seasons.

About the Founder

Vianney Méndez is a Mexican textile artist and contemporary designer whose work moves between wearable art, sculpture, and craftsmanship. Originally from Oaxaca and currently based between Oaxaca and Barcelona, her practice explores color, memory, identity, and the emotional relationship between the body and textiles.

Through Antiga Oaxaca BCN, Vianney transforms artisanal techniques into contemporary pieces designed to be worn as personal statements. Each garment and object is created with an artistic approach that values handwork, texture, experimentation, and individuality — merging Mexican craftsmanship with a bold contemporary aesthetic.

Antiga Oaxaca BCN was born from the desire to create collectible wearable pieces that exist somewhere between fashion and art: expressive, limited, and deeply human.
